Connecting your ''self'' to your 'should be self'

If you are clear about what you are, and also about what you want to be, then what you need to do is, to find or 'create' a link connecting the two. In many (not 'most') cases this link is easy to identify or create. If you are a 'group director' in an industry and you want to be the 'programme director' , well, then the link involves gaining more knowledge, more 'leadership qualities', more of 'self confidence' and 'clarity' about the 'ultimate goals' of the organization you are working for.
However, for example, if you are a successful software professional wanting to be a good parent and spouse, then the link is 'psychological' and 'sociological' and therefore tough. Believe me it then involves a lot of understanding or awareness of a lot of human characteristics. It involves understanding one's role as a software person , a person actively involved in computerizing civilization and electromagnetically networking mankind, and your role as a good parent and spouse, one who creates in his kids joyously and sometimes playfully, the sense of 'responsibility towards their future', and in the spouse, the confidence of being with the right person.

A universal formula for finding or creating this link, will be attempted at in the next few posts or a book, but how I intend to do it for myself, will be attempted at in the next few posts alone.
