Moving forward

Cheers to the revival. I stopped posting, because I let the inertia of life takeover. However, once you view your existence, in a manner suggested by my previous posts, the resulting neuronal inter-connections that form in your brain do not really go away.

REVIVAL !

The immense gap between the last post and this one could mean that one has been busy with getting along with one's worldly life (saunsar in sanskrit) and/or one is confused about the purpose behind the blog. NO MORE. Time is running out, and one HAS to put one's existence in proper perspective. So here goes:
This blog's purpose is to contain words, that express thoughts, that result from a scientific approach to understanding what one's existence is all about.

Thanks to semiconductors

These structured e-spaces that enable these voluntary physical displays of one's thoughts should be considered as significant as Gutenberg's invention of the 'moveable type' or 'printing' . These silicon chips have enabled 'Google' and related organizations to play a vital role in the further spread, dissemination and therefore 'seeding' of ideas, in exactly the same way that Gutenberg did for the birth of formal science.

Connecting your ''self'' to your 'should be self'

If you are clear about what you are, and also about what you want to be, then what you need to do is, to find or 'create' a link connecting the two. In many (not 'most') cases this link is easy to identify or create. If you are a 'group director' in an industry and you want to be the 'programme director' , well, then the link involves gaining more knowledge, more 'leadership qualities', more of 'self confidence' and 'clarity' about the 'ultimate goals' of the organization you are working for.
However, for example, if you are a successful software professional wanting to be a good parent and spouse, then the link is 'psychological' and 'sociological' and therefore tough. Believe me it then involves a lot of understanding or awareness of a lot of human characteristics. It involves understanding one's role as a software person , a person actively involved in computerizing civilization and electromagnetically networking mankind, and your role as a good parent and spouse, one who creates in his kids joyously and sometimes playfully, the sense of 'responsibility towards their future', and in the spouse, the confidence of being with the right person.

A universal formula for finding or creating this link, will be attempted at in the next few posts or a book, but how I intend to do it for myself, will be attempted at in the next few posts alone.

I am, but I want to be

A gap of eight months after the first post. This is an extreme form of writer's block. Mental inertia. A lot of us are not as successful in life as we would want to be because of this inertia. We are something, and we want to be something else. Sit back and think about why you are not something else. Let me follow my advice. I am a reasonably successful prorprietor of a very small non-government educational institution. I teach 12th grade students, physics and mathematics, that prepares them to appear for exams that , will enable them to enter engineering or medical school (something like the SAT in the US). The reason for my reasonable success is my communication skill. I try to make my students understand the principles underlying 12th grade math and physics at a fundamental level. I try and make them see, how concepts in physics and mathematics arise from the day to day lives of a few thinking and intelligent human beings. Oh yes, and this approach has transformed the mind-set of some of my thinking students, who then tell their juniors 'Atul is such a good teacher' , who therefore enroll in my institution.

However I have always wanted to be something else. I want to be the 'scientist' who will finally explain 'consciousness'. An explanation that is consistent with all of physics and biology. Why am I not this 'something else'? My next post will hint at an answer.

Introduction

The term 'big bang' in the title means the creation of the universe. I believe in the big-bang model of the creation of the universe. As the title of the blog suggests , I desperately want this small e-space to be a site for thoughts that will be the seeds for our universe to ultimately blossom into a glorious existence.

The posts here will be about what I think the world around us was, is, and should be. I sincerely hope the comments here will help us make the world what it should be.

To begin with, I request all those who read this post to take a mental pause and think whether an exercise such as above , carried out for a few minutes per day, is really worth it. Please do so without skepticism or cynicism.

How is our life unfolding? How do we feel about it right now? Is it unfolding the way it should be? Is it blossoming? If yes, then carry on , but pause once in a while to view your life as one among many lives. If not, then if you can afford to do so, take a deep breath, and think. Think about what is wrong with your life. Can things be set right? Here, in this blog, and in a book that I am writing, tips to set things right will be provided.
